High quality, many variants, low quantities
Automatic wire bonders achieve a high flow-through rate and top quality. However, if retooling is too frequent this involves time and expense, which are generally not available for prototypes or pilot series. What is therefore required is a machine concept which combines the quality of a fully automatic system with the flexibility of a laboratory unit.
One base, many bond heads, many test heads, one training operation
F & K Delvotec is the first and only manufacturer to provide such a concept in the form of its Desktop Micro Factory Series 56xx. This has been developed by F & K Delvotec Semiconductor GmbH in Braunau/Austria, and bundles all wire bond technologies and bond testing functions in one machine. The Desktop Micro Factory can be applied universally. The fast exchange of bond heads and typical test processes (pull, shear and tweezer test) guarantees optimum flexibility.
