Neuer Standort in China: STRAMAGROUP setzt auf lokale Expertise und globale Vernetzung

STRAMAGROUP has opened a new location in Taicang (Jiangsu Province), where the activities of Strama-MPS and F&K DELVOTEC are being brought together. The site is intended to further improve customer support across the Asia-Pacific region and facilitate regional project collaboration.

The opening took place in early February and was accompanied by a ceremonial relocation and inauguration event. Employees and members of STRAMAGROUP’s management attended the ceremony and jointly marked the launch of the new site.

In his opening speech, CEO Martin Ebner emphasized that the new location underlines the strategic importance of China and the Asia-Pacific region for STRAMAGROUP. The investment represents a clear commitment to the long-term development of the site and to further strengthening global collaboration within the group.

A key advantage of the new location is the expansion of local expertise and engineering capabilities. This enables STRAMAGROUP to tailor products more precisely to the requirements of the Asian market, shorten development cycles, and implement customer projects more efficiently.

The closer integration of Strama-MPS and F&K DELVOTEC on site also contributes to shorter delivery times, improved cost structures, and increased competitiveness for customers. By concentrating know-how in one location, synergies are created in areas including electronics manufacturing, bonding technology, as well as assembly and testing in the semiconductor environment.

As a symbolic gesture, Martin Ebner and Andreas Schmidbauer, COO International, presented a Bavarian porcelain lion to the China location on behalf of STRAMAGROUP. The lion represents strength, stability, and success, and highlights the ambition to further expand the Taicang site’s role in research, development, and innovation within the group.

The new location was officially put into operation with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. The Taicang site remains closely connected with STRAMAGROUP’s international units, combining global technological expertise with local market knowledge.
